About
Who makes YIP Note
YIP Note belongs to YourIPLawyer.in, a proprietary concern of Mrs. Minoti Pradhan.
It is made by Rohit Pradhan, a lawyer based in Delhi. In his free time he either reads a book or builds things like this app.
Rohit is friendly and easy to approach: write to adv.rohitpradhan@gmail.com with an idea, a problem or a question about the app.
Why YIP Note
Much of a lawyer's day goes into reading: paper books, annexures, orders, judgments, often hundreds of pages for one hearing. On a tablet the pages are easy to carry, but the habits of paper are easy to lose: the flags, the margin notes, the one line you will need on the day.
YIP Note was made to keep those habits. It holds a whole matter as one Case File, lets you mark the pages as you would with a pen, and keeps your notes next to the documents, each pointing back to its page.
Not an advertisement
This website describes a software tool and how to use it. It does not offer, advertise or invite work for legal services, and nothing on it is legal advice. YIP Note is made in Rohit's own time, to help the fraternity with the everyday work of reading and preparing a matter.
How YIP Note is made
- YIP Note was designed and written for its purpose: its name, look, words and pictures were made for it.
- Like most software, it is built with open-source components and fonts, used under their published licences. Each one is listed with its licence in the app, under Settings → About → Open-source licences.
- The documents shown in the app's samples and on this website are fictional.
- Your documents are yours: they stay on your device and are never sent to us (see the Privacy policy).
If you think something in YIP Note should be credited differently, corrected or changed, please write to adv.rohitpradhan@gmail.com. Every message is read.
