Prior use and registration

  1. The Plaintiff adopted the mark KETTLEMINT in 2009. It is a coined word and is inherently distinctive.
  2. The mark is registered under No. 2048117 in Class 11.
  3. In 2025 alone, sales under the mark exceeded ₹ 38 crore.

Cause of action

  1. On 3 February 2026 a kettle marked KETTLEMINTZ was bought from the Defendant’s shop. The buyer, Anaya Deshmane, kept the invoice.
  2. A legal notice went to Kettle Mint Traders on 10 February 2026.

The first 3 months are free, with every feature. After that it is ₹600 a year. If you don't subscribe, your Case Files stay on your device and you can still open, read and export them.

Do my documents leave my device?

No. Your documents, marks and notes are stored on your tablet and are not uploaded anywhere.

Which files can I open?

PDFs and photos. On iPad, Word files are turned into PDF on the device when you import them.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Once your documents are in, everything works offline.

How do I move to a new tablet?

Save a backup file of your Case Files and open it on the new device.
